Two ways to work with us.
Training at Functional Training Melbourne can be done in person or online. Both options are built around the same principle: understand how your body is moving, identify what may be driving the compensation, then rebuild movement with a clearer plan.
In Person Visits
Hands on biomechanics training in Melbourne.
Best for clients who want the most detailed assessment and coaching in person, especially when pain, posture, gait, movement restrictions or long term compensation patterns need closer attention.

Which option is right for you?
The right option depends on how much support you need, where you are located and how complex your movement history is. If you are unsure, the best starting point is to enquire and we can guide you toward the most appropriate pathway.
Choose In Person If

Our Process
The process stays the same: assess, rebuild and progress.
Whether you work with us in person or online, the goal is not to give you random exercises. We start by understanding how your body is organising movement, then build a plan that matches your current structure, capacity and response.

Assess the pattern
We look at posture, gait, breathing, rotation, pressure and how your body manages load so we can understand what may be driving the issue.

Rebuild the mechanics
Training is selected to help your body access better alignment, control and coordination instead of simply adding more effort on top of compensation.

Progress with control
As your body adapts, we gradually progress complexity, repetition or load while continuing to monitor how your posture and movement respond.
The pathway changes, but the standard does not.
In person sessions allow for more direct assessment and coaching. Online sessions require clearer footage and more independent practice. Both still aim to create a more specific, structured and useful training process than generic programming.
